Ohara School of Ikebana Introductory Course

A Four-Class, In-Person Journey at HANADOJO

Discover ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging, and deepen your appreciation of nature.

In this small-group course, you’ll learn the foundations of Ohara-style ikebana and explore ways to bring nature into your everyday life. Beginners are welcome—no prior experience is necessary.

For those interested in continuing their studies, we’ll introduce the Ohara curriculum and class card system, through which students can work toward certifications issued by the school’s headquarters in Tokyo. Upon completing the introductory course, participants may be eligible for an international certificate for an additional fee.
